About David Parker
I have been teaching ukulele for 6 years, pretty much since when I first picked it up and started playing it.
I am a trained primary school teacher with a passion for music. I regard the ukulele as just about the best entry-level instrument for anyone from young to old.
I play semi-professionally with the ukulele trio ‘The Nukes’ and have performed at many great festivals around NZ such as WOMAD, and the ERUPT festival in Taupo.
The ukulele is an easy to pick up, charming little instrument. Anyone can give it a go and it has the capacity to be played to a high level if that’s what you desire.
